Born in Sussex, England, and raised between the Hudson Valley and Greenwich Village, New York by two visual artists, Kate Savage is the daughter of painterW. Lee Savage and photographer Sally Savage. After attending Parsons School of Design in New York and Paris, Kate moved west to complete her M.F.A. with honors at CSU Long Beach. After living in the greater Los Angeles are 30 years, Kate and her husband Tom Miller, also an artist, settled near Eugene, Oregon. Over the years, Kate's work has been exhibited in numerous galleries and museums nationally and internationally. She has had one-person exhibitions at Curve Line Space, at LAAA Gallery 825 and at Mt. San Jacinto College Art Gallery, among others. Kate's work has also been included in group shows at Ruth Bachofner Gallery, Haus Gallery, LACE,  Santa Monica Museum of Art, and University Art Museum Long Beach, among many other notable venues. Her work has been written about in Artweek, LA Times, The Long Beach Press Telegram, the Wall Street Journal and various other publications.
